Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Salary: to £22000– £25.500 depending on experience
Our client is a well-known business in Manchester. They are looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to join them on a permanent basis
You will be working as part of a team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in accordance with statutory policies
Duties will include
Delivery of a high level of payroll service ensuring that all processes work effectively
Processing year-end issues specifically preparation of tax returns, P11D’s; P60’s
Ensuring all online pension administration is accurate and up to date and pension contributions are calculated and remitted in a timely manner
Communicating with HMRC when required.
Processing SSP, SMP, and SSP, good working knowledge needed
Providing continual and relevant updates of payroll and taxation issues to Finance and HR Teams
Assuming responsibility for all payroll, taxation and NI issues
Keeping up to date with changes in payroll legislation
Submitting to HMRC, refunds and payments.
