Payroll FAQ
Frequently asked questions
| Q. |
I'm interested in finding a job in payroll recruitment. I understand payroll and feel I could help others find good jobs. How do I go about doing this? |
| A. |
Talk to us. We often have openings for both experienced and trainee consultants. Generally, recruitment agencies offer a range of commissions and incentives. You will have to consider the potential of the earnings package as a whole, rather than just the basic salary. Recruitment consultants can earn £50,000 and above. Although recruitment is a very rewarding role, it is not a 9-5 job and can be consuming.

What help can you give me regarding CV writing, interview techniques etc. |

| Q. |
How quickly can you find me a new job? |
| A. |
That all depends on your experience and expectations. Timescales can range from a day to six months. If your expectations are in line with current market demands, then the process is always much quicker. |
| Q. |
I have been in payroll management for several years and do not feel there is anywhere else for me to progress. Do you have any ideas? |
| A. |
Yes. We have helped a number of payroll managers change direction and move into payroll bureaux and software companies. These roles utilise your past experience of implementing payroll systems and troubleshooting. There are other roles within these types of organisitions where your past knowledge and management skills would be considered valuable. |
