Brief

My client is an established business who operate on a National Level. They are now looking to recruit a Payroll Team Leader for a permanent position in Reading. This position will offer a good opportunity to step up into Payroll Management

Purpose of Role

The Payroll team lead will be an expert of payroll and the managing a small team of payroll administrators. You will ultimately be responsible for the day-to-day management of the team, supervising workload and performance, monitoring workflow and allocating tasks as needed. You will also be heavily involved in actively delivering key process activities of payroll

Specifics

Manage the day to day running for Payroll
Manage and allocate high volumes of employee changes and requests
Deliver payroll for a number of key accounts, c 8000 employees
Manage and lead respective teams in relation to agreed KPIs and SLAs
Coach and mentor team members to encourage personal development and career progression, identify and address knowledge gaps and up-skill where necessary to ensure the highest levels of service and quality
Provide assistance with special projects and other duties as assigned
Ensure all Payroll documentation is legal and compliant
Ensure the end to end Payroll services is delivered efficiently and effectively

An established business in Slough - Now recruiting for a Client Payroll Administrator on a permanent basis using STAR

To be considered you will need to have a minimum of two years payroll experience working in a payroll bureau
or accountancy practice.

Please not this a Payroll position and not Accountancy.

Experience of using STAR payroll is highly desirable


Payroll Specialist

Payroll Specialist required in Slough on a Permanent basis.

Main duties include: Processing monthly UK payrolls, checking & validating payrolls, working closely with the payroll vendor, processing company benefits, reconciliations & reporting, integrating internal systems and update & maintain payroll processes and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have experience within a busy payroll department processing complex UK payrolls, excellent payroll legislation knowledge and extensive systems experience is essential.
