Main Purpose of the Role:
You will be responsible for managing the payroll for multiple entities. This includes running the payroll reports, coordinating & checking the payroll with external vendors, preparing the journal and making sure payments are made timely & accurately. You will need to maintain relationships with external payroll vendors as well as internal stakeholders. In this position you will be part of a dynamic, humble and open minded international team, consisting of 30+ colleagues who manage payroll for the EMEA Offices
SALARY PAYING UP TO 28K
Our client are seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join them in their office based in Birmingham. They are seeking a bright, self-motivated individual with in-depth payroll knowledge.
- Processing start to finish payroll, manual calculations including calculation of SSP, SMP, SAP etc.
- Assisting with reconciliation and yearend process.
- Communication with HMRC and third parties dealing with relevant payroll queries.
- Additional ad hoc projects when required.
- 2/3 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Experience working in a fast-pace environment, dealing with high volume payroll.
- Excellent HMRC legislation knowledge etc.

Processing high volumes of payroll from start to finish.
Compute employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes.
Answering queries about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records.
Follow payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law.
Previous experience in a similar position providing multi or high volume payrolls.
Experience in processing start to finish payroll is essential.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
CIPP Payroll qualification desirable but not essential.
