Our client is seeking an experienced payroll consultant to join them on an interim basis in their office based in the City of London

The ideal candidate must be process driven, come from a strategic and payroll transformation background and must be able to hit the ground running


- Review current processes and controls
- Implement changes in payroll processes and procedures
- Create new payroll polices
- Ensure the department is fully complaint and prepared for future audits
- Work along IR35 team to ensure the payroll department is fully compliant with new legislation

The role is project focused (6 month FTC) and requires a payroll professional with previous experience of working in a similar assignment ideally with knowledge of the implementation lifespan

Applicants will have good payroll knowledge and ideally have experience of data migration, parallel runs etc

Opportunity to take responsibility for the Payroll & Benefits function of a multi-site payroll, leading, managing and motivating a team of payroll colleagues to provide a holistic service

In addition to the day to day function of the department – the successful candidate will ensure be responsible for internal and external reporting including statutory return

The successful candidate will also take responsibility for process improvements through identification and action and work with colleagues to support the Reward function including salary reviews, benchmarking etc
