JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Assistant to join them in their office based in Somerset. This is to be part of a global company and of which is on permanent basis, with a salary of up to £30,000. You will be in charge of high volume payroll of 9,000 employees, spread across 23 different countries and managing different time zones.

You’ll be part of a small, friendly team and work closely with them to ensure that processes are effective, up-to-date and internationally compliant.

Payroll Assistant

I am recruiting for an experienced Payroll Assistant to join a well-established client of mine, based in the Harrow area. The role is permanent and with immediate interviews available.


The ideal candidate will have:-

• At least two years recent experience within payroll
• A good understanding of payroll legislation including SMP, Sick Pay and Holiday pay and be able to make the relevant calculations
• Experience of setting up with Auto-enrollment pensions inc. NEST and be able to deal with customer queries on the subject.

Payroll Manager

Fantastic opportunity to work in a high volume, multi payroll environment

Working as part of a large supportive payroll department – the successful candidate will manage and motivate a payroll team and assist with the processing of multiple UK payrolls.

Applicants will be experienced payroll professionals with experience of either Bureau or Managed Service Payroll with extensive knowledge and experience of start to finish payroll processing, reporting and a detailed understanding of HMRC legislation etc
