Payroll Manager

A fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Manager based in London on a permanent basis.

Main duties include, managing the monthly UK payroll, dealing with payroll & tax queries effectively, reconcile monthly & year end reports, RTI returns, manage company benefits, process P11d’s and produce MI reports.

The ideal candidate will have manage a payroll from start to finish, have in depth payroll legislation knowledge and good auto-enrolment/pensions experience.

The requirement is for a Payroll Supervisor calibre candidate to support the running of a small team and take ownership of the payroll function and related benefits, deputising in the Payroll Managers absence

In addition to processing UK payroll, the successful candidate will oversee the processing of expatriate payroll - so previous experience of this would be beneficial

Applicants will be experienced payroll professionals with demonstrable experience in either a senior payroll administrator position or a similar supervisory role

Reporting to the HR Director and supervising a Payroll Assistant – the successful candidate will take responsibility for the monthly payroll and pensions function.

Candidates will be experienced start to finish payroll professionals with previous experience of supervising a small team or delegating and looking to move into payroll management. Knowledge of managing payroll vendors and other providers is an advantage

Candidates will have good knowledge of HMRC legislation and experience of reporting and reconciliation to finance.

Knowledge of benefits including pension provision is desirable
