The role of the Data Security Consultant will be to work closely with company business teams and assist them in the adoption of Microsoft 365 security solutions and security best practices. You will be part of the information security team responsible for the configuration and administration of Microsoft 365 security solutions and in maintaining the Microsoft 365 security platform.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance security policies, processes, procedures and technical controls to strengthen the company's security capabilities and resilience to cyber threats
  • Take a proactive role in identifying security risks, mitigations and opportunities to strengthen company's resilience to cyber-attacks and security incidents
  • Participate in the design and implementation of systems and applications to ensure that proposed solutions comply with the company's IT Security policies and best practice
  • Assist with security incident management and response activities
  • Support the IT team to provide and knowledge and deployment/adoption processes to align with best practices
  • Provide analysis of information security risk and issues of non-compliance

  • Comprehensive experience and in-depth knowledge of information security and standards including Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, 27002 etc. Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation

The role of the M365 technical specialist is to work closely with their operational business to support the M365 platform. You will also be responsible for M365 administration, supporting our technical support teams, training, and maintenance of the environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the operational health of the M365 environment including availability, maintenance, performance, interoperability, reliability, and security
  • Assist in the administration and support of an enterprise-level Microsoft Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, mobile access, SharePoint (sub sites, lists, libraries, and content) etc.
  • Troubleshoot M365 related issues including connectivity and mobility when alerted by monitoring software or staff
